Consider biking to work on Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 17. Organized by Council of Governments’ Commuter Connections program and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, participants can leave their cars at home and bike to their places of employment as a healthy and fun way to start their day.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been delivering on the promise to protect communities from the harmful effects of toxic substances, including cancer-causing agents. Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are a series of man-made chemical compounds that persist in the environment for long periods of time.
In March, Living Grace Christian School (LGCS) students, along with students from five other schools in Florida and North Carolina, competed (remotely) in the ACSI Math Olympics. In the 12 competitions of computation and reasoning, LGCS placed 24 of their students, including seven 1st place finishes. The following students placed as follows:
