MV 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run
Get moving the fun, fit way at the annual Montgomery Village 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run.

Event Timeline:
7 a.m. – packet pickup
7:45 a.m. – 1-Mile Fun Run starts
8:05 a.m. – announcements and the National Anthem
8:15 a.m. – 5K Race starts
Get your high-quality wicking race shirt (first come, first served).
Montgomery County Road Runners, one of the most highly respected running organizations in the state, will be back this year to handle electronic chip timing.
Parking:
Race parking is available at Lake Marion Community Center, 8821 East Village Avenue, and Patsy Huson Ballfield, 20300 Fulks Farm Road.
Rules:
The following is prohibited for all runners: strollers, baby joggers, skates, pets, and headsets. When passing another runner, it’s always a good idea to pass them on the left. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Prizes:
The overall first place male and female of the 5K race will receive a trophy. New this year, medals will be awarded to the top 3 males and females in each of the following age groups of the 5K race: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. For the fun run, medals will be awarded to the top three male and the top three females. All other fun run participants will receive a ribbon.
