The Montgomery Village Foundation Department of Recreation and Parks is seeking motivated teens to spend six weeks learning skills related to outdoor work at recreation and park facilities.

Assist in the supervision of the Lake Whetstone boat rental program during hours of operation, on an as needed basis.

The Camp Counselor will plan and lead, or assist with planning and leading a variety of structured camp activities

Responsible for teaching “Learn to Swim” lessons based on thorough knowledge of the Montgomery Village Foundation’s (MVF) curriculum.

Provide legal services required in the course of MVF’s daily operations (on-going collection activities for delinquent assessments; answering resident questions; reviewing lawsuits and liens; monitoring foreclosures and bankruptcies; etc.).  Advise MVF management, staff, and Board of Directors on legal impacts of issues the organization encounters (advise senior leadership to aid in achieving departmental missions; interpret MVF documents and policies; review and advise contract provisions, applicable statutes, and corporate practices; etc.).

Responsible for teaching “Learn to Swim” lessons based on thorough knowledge of the Montgomery Village Foundation’s (MVF) curriculum. Functions as mentor to less experienced instructors.

The MVF Department of Recreation and Parks is currently accepting program proposals from instructors for year-round programming.

Guards shallow water up to 5 feet deep and deck area to ensure the safety of patrons in and around the water.

The Communications Department oversees the carriers who deliver the Village News to each resident quarterly. Children as young as age ten are encouraged to take on this responsibility in their neighborhoods, and the best part is kids get paid for their hard work!
