Stedwick Pool to reopen on Aug. 17

Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) is pleased to announce that Stedwick Pool will officially reopen to the community on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 12 p.m., following a major renovation.  The Community Center will open in September when our fall programming begins.

The extensive renovation has transformed Stedwick Pool into a modern, accessible aquatic facility featuring a main pool with eight 25-meter lanes, a 12-foot diving well, a hydrotherapy area, a sun shelf, ample shade, and an ADA-accessible ramp. The pool also remains heated and lit, providing residents with expanded opportunities for recreation, fitness, and aquatic activities.

The improvements are designed to provide a more welcoming and accessible environment for Montgomery Village residents while enhancing the community's long-term recreational offerings. The Stedwick Pool and Community Center renovation represents a significant investment by MVF in the community's recreational infrastructure. The project is part of MVF's ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving its extensive system of parks, pools, community centers, and recreational facilities.

The reopening on Aug. 17 will give residents an opportunity to enjoy the newly renovated facility during the final weeks of the 2026 outdoor pool season, including the extended season.
