Park of the Month: Apple Ridge Ballfield

With spring just around the corner, it is time to think about dusting off those cleats and bats, and get ready to play ball! Located near North Creek Community Center and North Creek Lake Park at the corner of Apple Ridge Road and Montgomery Village Avenue you will find Apple Ridge Ballfield. Apple Ridge Ballfield, 20101 Swallow Point Road, features bleachers for spectators to cheer on their favorite players and a parking lot.

In addition, this park is home to the Montgomery Village Foundation’s only cricket pitch. The cricket pitch was opened in 2017 to the public and has been an extremely popular feature for this park. Cricket is the second most popular sport in the entire world, with around 2.5 billion fans of the sport. When the field is not in use for sports, you can often find residents walking their dogs, playing catch or jogging around the field.

The Montgomery Village Foundation has a variety of ballfields available for reservation for baseball, softball, soccer, football and cricket.
