Montgomery College summer classes feature visual and performing arts
Registration for Montgomery College’s Community Arts Program summer classes opens on April 7, offering a selection of creative opportunities for all ages. Starting the week of May 27, students can explore everything from cyanotype photography and sewing to improv, Adobe Creative Cloud, drawing workshops, piano, and pewter smithing.
With options in Takoma Park, Rockville and online, these classes are designed to fit into a variety of schedules, whether you prefer an in-person experience or the flexibility of learning remotely. Taught by professional artists, each course provides a hands-on, immersive experience, with sessions ranging from 1 to 10 weeks. Prices vary between $49 and $344, making it accessible for various budgets, too.
Open to anyone ages 16 and older, the program also offers discounts for seniors ages 60+. Whether you're looking to refine a skill or explore a new creative outlet, this is your chance to immerse yourself in the arts this summer!
