County schedule for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25

The Montgomery County Government, and programs that impact county residents, will have holiday schedule and program changes for Memorial Day on Monday, May 25.

• County offices—closed
• MC 311—closed
• State offices and courts—closed
• State Motor Vehicle Administration offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program stations—closed
• Libraries—closed Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25
• Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS)—All stores open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Department of Permitting Services—closed
• Ride On—operates on a Sunday schedule
• Ride On extRa Pink and Lime—operate on a Sunday schedule
• Ride On extRa (Route 101) and Flex bus service—not in service. 
• Ride On Flashbus service—will operate on a Weekend/Holiday schedule (Orange Route only). Blue Route (typically, weekday only)—not in service 
• Ride On Flex and Ride On extRa—not in service
• MARC Train—not in service
• TRiPS Silver Spring commuter store—open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• TRiPS mobile commuter store—closed
• Metrorail—operates on a Weekend schedule with trains running from 6 a.m. to midnight
• Metrobus—operates on a Sunday service schedule
• Public parking garages, lots, curbside meters—free
• County-provided recycling collections—no collections on Monday, May 25; collections for the remainder of the week will slide one day, with the final collections on Saturday, May 30
• Shady Grove Transfer Station and Recycling Center—closed
• Outdoor Pools—open
• Community Recreation, Senior and Indoor Aquatic Centers—closed
