Swim Team registration

Village swim teams provide one of the perennial favorite summer activities for Village children ages 4 to 18 (as of June 1 of the current year) whose families are members of Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) pools. Montgomery Village Swim Teams are run by parent volunteers, not by MVF.

But how do you become a member of the pool and which swim team do you belong to? Most homeowners in good standing with Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) pay a quarterly assessment for pools and community centers, and are a member of the pools. Families who live in condominiums or apartments and do not pay the assessment for pools and community centers but wish to join a swim team can “buy in” and purchase an MVF Pool Membership or a Swim Team Only pass. A valid MVF Activity Card with annual validation sticker is required for entry. Additional swim team registration fees apply.

The Whetstone Swim Team is for families in the following communities: Dockside, Fairway Islands, Grover’s Forge, The Hamptons, Hawthorne, Maryland Place, Millrace, Nathan’s Hill, Poplar Spring, Whetstone, Club Hill, Clubside, Clusters I & II, Clusters III, Forest Brooke, Frenchton Place, The Heights, The Ridges of Stedwick, Wisteria.

“Buy-in” communities include: Horizon Run, Thomas Choice Gardens, Thomas Choice West, Thomas Choice Condo, Center Court, Center Stage, Christopher Court, Heron's Cove, Normandie on the Lake I & II, Park Place I & II and Walker's Choice.

North Creek Neptunes
