Solar panel installation begins April 5 on several MVF facilities

Starting Saturday, April 5, solar panels will be installed on several MVF facilities, including the Gordon W. Bowie Music Pavilion, MVF Office and Maintenance Facility, North Creek Community Center, Peggy Mark Bathhouse, Stedwick Community Center, and Whetstone Community Center. This initiative, identified as a priority in the MVF Organizational Green Plan, is funded through a state grant sponsored by Senator  Nancy King and the District 39 delegation. The project aims to reduce energy usage at MVF facilities and is expected to take a couple of months to complete.
