Build and race your pumpkin racer at the MVF Great Pumpkin Race and Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at North Creek Community Center, 20125 Arrowhead Road. See the step-by-step guide on page 9 for instructions on how to craft your racer. If cooking is more your speed, be sure to enter the Pumpkin Treat Contest (details on page 21). Participants and spectators alike will enjoy a fun filled day of games, face painting, carnival rides, crafts, food and classic rock tunes played by "45 RPM."
