The Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) Board of Directors is seeking a volunteer to serve as Treasurer. After nearly a year of service to the community, Treasurer Tom Wills resigned the position in mid-March, and it was publicly announced at the March MVF Board of Directors meeting.

The Treasurer serves in an advisory capacity, working in coordination with the MVF CFO to provide guidance on accounting and treasury matters; being an active member of both the Audit and Investment committees; and providing high-level review and presentation of MVF’s monthly financial statements to the Board at the monthly meetings as well as the annual meeting in March. The Treasurer is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors.

Ideal candidates will possess skills in financial policies and reports, investment review and management, and committee and board dynamics, as well as be able to successfully communicate a financial position to the Board of Directors. Residents interested in this position or those with questions, should email Chief Financial Officer Daniel Salazar at This email address is being protected from spambots.
