In 2018, Montgomery County sold 17.47 acres of Agricultural Reserve to Davis Airport for purposes of expanding the runway 600 feet to build 36 T hangars and 6 enterprise hangers to expand Montgomery County Airpark operations. The residents in Damascus sued the county to reverse the exemption that was granted. Expanded traffic of flight schools in residential area and will bring toxic lead and noise pollution to a congested residential neighborhood. If you have noise complaints regarding Montgomery County airpark should be submitted online under the noise and safety tab (www.montgomerycountyairpark.com), noise and safety. Please reach out to Citizens for Airpark Safety if you need information on how to best submit a complaint.
