The Montgomery County Board of Elections encourages residents to take advantage of early voting in the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election as a convenient way to cast a ballot ahead of Election Day. Early voting will take place from Thursday, June 11, through Thursday, June 18, including Saturday and Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Montgomery County operates 14 early voting centers to provide accessible options for voters. Residents can also vote by mail or in person on Election Day, Tuesday, June 23.

To find an early voting location, text “EV” and your ZIP code to 77788, or view the list on Montgomery County’s website.

Furthermore, Ride On and Metrobus offer several routes to early voting centers. All Ride On buses are zero-fare for all riders, and Metrobus offers various free and reduced fare programs. For more details about public transit access to early voting centers on Montgomery County’s website.
