Community spirit shines bright for America 250 at the MV Independence Day Parade

MVF-Summer-Club

Despite the scorching heat, Village residents still came out in great numbers to celebrate the July 3 MV Independence Day Parade along Apple Ridge Road. Spectators lined the parade route, cheering on neighbors, community groups, and local organizations as they made their way through the Village.

The Lake Marion Lasers took home the “Best Overall” grand prize trophy for their impressive “From Sea to Shining Sea”- themed float, featuring iconic American landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty and the Golden Gate Bridge. The parade also showcased a variety of community organizations and members, including Montgomery Village swim teams, Montgomery County Police, local fire and rescue personnel, and local businesses.
