Pool season ending soon

Summer is coming to an end, and with it, the end of “pool season” in Montgomery Village. Apple Ridge Pool is now closed and will begin renovation for the 2017 season; watch the Village News and www.montgomeryvillage.com for updates. Watkins Mill pool is also closed for the season. North Creek Pool will close on Sunday, Aug. 21 and Hurley Park Pool will close on Sunday, Aug. 28.

From Monday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Sept. 2, Lake Marion and Whetstone pools will be open daily from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Both pools will be open from noon to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4, and will close at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 (Labor Day).

Because of the heater at Stedwick Pool, hours can be extended daily and through Sunday, Sept. 25. From Monday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Sept. 5, Stedwick Pool will be open daily from noon to 7:30 p.m. Following Labor Day, the pool will be open from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays; from noon to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays; and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The pool will close for the season at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25.
