MVF Pools closing soon

Summer is coming to an end, and with it, the end of “pool season” in Montgomery Village. Watkins Mill, North Creek and Whetstone pools are closed for the season. Hurley Park Pool will close on Sunday, Aug. 27.

From Monday, Aug. 28 through Monday, Sept. 4, Apple Ridge, Lake Marion and Stedwick pools will be open daily from noon to 7:30 p.m. Apple Ridge and Lake Marion will close at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4 (Labor Day), and Stedwick will close at 7:30 p.m.
Because of the heater at Stedwick Pool, hours can be extended daily and through Sunday, Sept. 24. From Monday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 24, Stedwick Pool will be open daily from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays; from noon to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays; and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The pool will close for the season at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24.
