MV 60th Anniversary Passport Journey
It all began on Feb. 28, 1966, when the Kettler Brothers built the first home in Montgomery Village. Fast forward 60 years to the day in 2026 and MVF is celebrating this milestone with residents through a fun, yearlong Passport Journey—and you’re invited!
Join us for the Kickoff Celebration during the Recreation and Parks Open House on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lake Marion Community Center (8821 East Village Avenue). Meet our team, enjoy some demos, and embark on this special Passport Journey through the Village!
The Passport was curated especially for the Village’s 60th Anniversary, and it will guide you through the many activities, events and hidden gems that make Montgomery Village so unique. You’ll collect stickers or stamps at each stop along your journey from February through November. Those who earn 60 validations will receive a 60th Anniversary PRIZE! The journey will conclude at the Montgomery Village Holiday Farmers’ Market (at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church parking lot, 9801 Centerway Road) on Saturday, Nov. 21, where prizes will be awarded.
Participation is FREE, and registration is so important! By registering, you’ll stay in the know about exciting updates, be the first to hear about activities and surprises along the way and help us in our planning.
