If one of these holidays falls on a collection day THAT day is skipped and trash will be picked up on the NEXT REGULARLY scheduled pick up day.
Columbus Day is not observed by the county so Recycling MAY BE PLACED OUT for pick up on Columbus Day.
Recycling services are provided by Montgomery County. Recycling is collected every Thursday.

Please note the following reminders about trash collection:
TRASH STORAGE: Until household refuse is properly placed for collection or hauled to an acceptable deposit site, it shall be stored within airtight, waterproof containers that are vermin proof and meet Montgomery County standards while stored at the exterior of the residence. Plastic bags, cardboard boxes and/or paper sacks do not qualify as acceptable storage containers. Storage containers for either refuse or recyclables are not to be kept in front yards, on stoops, driveways or sidewalks of any unit and should not be visible from the street.
RECYCLING STORAGE: Recyclables shall be stored in containers provided by Montgomery County. Yard waste may be kept in paper yard bags or in steel or plastic trash containers. Storage containers must be stored in the rear of the property.
DISPOSAL: Normal household waste is currently removed by the unified trash contractor. All other items not covered by the county recycling program are the responsibility of the resident.
