Mattie J. T. Stepanek Park, King Farm Walk Nov. 8

The Seneca Valley Sugarloafers Volksmarch Club is sponsoring the Mattie J. T. Stepanek Park, King Farm – Rockville, MD Walk on Saturday, Nov. 8. Both of the 5km trails are rated 1A. These two walks are on sidewalks and asphalt trails with no significant hills. The trails are suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. The start time is between 9 a.m. and Noon, and the walk must be completed by 3 p.m.

The Start/Finish point is at the Mattie J. T. Stepanek Park, 1800 Piccard Drive in Rockville. The park entrance is on Pleasant Drive. Free parking is available in the park. All walkers 12 years and older will pay a $4 participation fee. Children under 12 years may earn IVV credit for no charge at all events sponsored by the Seneca Valley Sugarloafers Volksmarch Club. Restrooms and water are available at the Start/Finish point. Pets may be taken on the trail, but they must be leashed, and walkers must clean up after their pet.
