Living Grace Christian School Girls Soccer Team achieves winning season

The Living Grace Christian School (LGCS) Varsity Girls Soccer Team achieved a winning season of four wins and two losses this past spring. Posting its first winning season, the team has many young players. With only two graduating seniors, the team is looking forward to next season with many returning players. The school’s sports program has a strong emphasis on developing younger players. This growth is continuing from year to year.

Midfielder Melissa Salas led the scoring this season with 7 goals and 3 assists. Seniors Emily Guardado Toledo (Captain) and Thyler Williams both contributed in the scoring category and exhibited excellent leadership. Gabriela Lamy, Alejandra Lievano and Deborah Holdbrook were persistent offensive threats, while the defensive units saw solid play from Arriana Wolohan, Brianna Mayhew, Hannah Switzer, Trinity Freeman, Luisa Serrano and Lia Wong.
