Helicopter activity at Patsy Huson Ballfield, Sept. 30 to Oct. 2

From Monday, Sept. 30 to Wednesday, Oct. 2, Patsy Huson Ballfield (20300 Fulks Farm Road) may be used as a designated landing zone for a helicopter supporting critical repairs to the Pepco high-voltage power lines. Local residents and park visitors should expect increased helicopter activity in the vicinity of the power lines throughout this time period. 

Signage is in place at the landing zone, and for your safety, we kindly ask that you avoid entering the marked area. This repair schedule may be subject to change due to weather conditions. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding any inconvenience.
