Gaithersburg Arts Barn displays art and photography in “Winter Wonderland: Artistry”

“Winter Wonderland: Artistry,” an exhibit featuring artwork focused on the theme of winter, will be on display at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn beginning Friday, Jan. 10 and running through Tuesday Mar. 25. The invitational exhibit will display photography and painting and includes featured artists Donna Baron, Patrick Brown, Byron Henson, David Terrar, Tong Li, Sheryl Massaro, Jean Phillips, Barry Scheiner, Annette Uroskie, Richard Weiblinger, Jenny Wilson, Svitlana Zagorodni, Michael Kuchinsky and Alexis Limpiado.

Interested parties can attend a “Meet the Artists” event during the free reception on Thursday, Jan.16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The reception will feature nature photographer Timothy Lynch whose exhibit is on display at the Arts Barn and the Art League of Germantown, which will be displaying art at Kentlands Mansion.

Viewing hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
