Directs the daily operation of the Lake Marion Community Center including programming, staffing and public relations; Implements and manages the community center private rental and community user group programs; Plans, coordinates and supervises a number of programs including summer camps, drop-in activities, and community events.

Under the supervision of the senior accountant, the staff accountant manages the accounts payable process to ensure accurate and timely payments to suppliers and vendors; assist with accounts receivable; daily cash reconciliation; and general ledger accounting activities including application of customer payments and bank/general ledger reconciliations and other tasks as assigned.

The MVF Department of Recreation and Parks is currently accepting program proposals from instructors for year-round programming.

The Communications Department oversees the carriers who deliver the Village News to each resident every other week. Children as young as age ten are encouraged to take on this responsibility in their neighborhoods, and the best part is kids get paid for their hard work!
