EVP announces new Assistant EVP position
Executive Vice President Dave Humpton announced the promotion of Director of Communications Mike Conroy to a new position of Assistant Executive Vice President. Humpton said, “I am thrilled that Mike has agreed to take on this new role, which he is well suited for. His collaboration skills, technological savvy and broad understanding of MVF and the Montgomery Village community made him the perfect candidate for this position.”
Conroy has worked for the Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) for 12 years, serving in various communications roles including graphic designer, webmaster and department director, as well as photographing events and maintaining MVF’s social media. He is the staff liaison to the Communications, Nominating and Election committees, was co-liaison of the ad hoc 50th Anniversary Committee and also serves as MVF’s Corporate Secretary. During his tenure at MVF, Conroy has worked on several special projects and dedicated much time to the advancement of the organization.
The MVF Board authorized the creation of this new position that will work closely with the EVP and other staff on strategic planning, organizational development, community outreach, committee assignments and special projects. Conroy will also continue to lead the Communications Department and their initiatives.
