SHA to present intersection improvement proposal

At the July 29 community meeting with WRS, the owner and developer of the Lakeforest property, it was revealed that the State Highway Administration (SHA) is proposing an intersection improvement project in parallel with the redevelopment.The affected intersections are along Montgomery Village Avenue (MD Rt 124), adjacent to the Lakeforest property at MD 355, Russell Avenue, Lost Knife Road and MidCounty Highway.

SHA will present their proposal for these improvements, in accordance with the state’s Pedestrian Safety Action Plan, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at North Creek Community Center, 20125 Arrowhead Road.
