Renovation begins April 8 for Heights Tennis Courts

Beginning Tuesday, April 8, the tennis courts at the Heights Recreation Area, 10550 Stedwick Road, will undergo a comprehensive renovation to enhance the quality and safety of the facility. Over time, aging of materials, weather conditions and facility use have contributed to surface wear, cracks and subsurface issues that are in need of repair.

The renovation will include a mill and repave of the courts, ensuring a smooth and even playing surface. Following preparation and compaction of the subgrade, new asphalt layers will be installed along with new net posts. The fence and gates surrounding the courts will also be updated and replaced. The courts will then be painted to meet USTA standards, and a Rally Master Backboard will be installed to enhance practice opportunities.

This project is expected to take 2 to 3 months to complete, with work progressing as weather permits. During this time, the Heights Tennis Courts will be closed to the public. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we work to improve this valuable recreational space. This renovation is part of MVF’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high-quality amenities for residents.
