New digital trail and amenity map available online

On February 24 the Department of Recreation and Parks launched a new interactive trail map on the Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) website, www.montgomeryvillage.com. The integrated Google map also has a mobile-friendly version. This map features all the asphalt paths in the parks and the communities, as well as the locations of playgrounds and other amenities on MVF and homeowner association properties. This map has the ability to be updated as new trails or amenities are opened, as expected with the new development coming to the former golf course property.

The map creation was spearheaded by a motion from the Committee on the Environment, and supported by the MVF Board of Directors and the Recreation Committee. Staff are excited to bring this updated resource to Village residents.
