LGCS students excel at the ACSI Math Olympics

 In early March, 35 Living Grace Christian School (LGCS) students, along with students from about 5 other schools, competed (remotely) in the ACSI Math Olympics. In the 12 competitions of computation and reasoning, LGCS placed 15 of their students, including one 1^st place finish. The following students placed as follows:

3^rd grade: Joel Moulouangou - reasoning, 3^rd place

4^th grade: Christina Druz – reasoning, 5^th place

5^th grade: Camilla Lima - computation, 4^th place; Gabriela Moreno – computation, 5^th place; Rachel Griffioen – reasoning, 2^nd place; and Michaela Pumphrey – reasoning, 4^th place

6^th grade: Yahel Abraham – reasoning, 3^rd place; Shalom Worku - computation, 2^nd place; and Yoel Fitsum - computation, 4^th place

7^th grade: Tyler Kadrichu – computation, 2^nd place; and Perla Mangani – computation, 4^th place

8^th grade: Karis Mayhew – reasoning, 2^nd place; Isabella Moreno – computation, 1^st place; Anna Wong – computation, 2^nd place; and Aden Mesfin – computation, 3^rd place

LGCS thanks Math Olympics Coach Mr. Silva, and all of our teachers from kindergarten on up, for their instruction, as well as the parents for their diligence.
