LGCS students excel at the ACSI Math Olympics

 In early March, 35 Living Grace Christian School (LGCS) students, along with students from about 5 other schools, competed (remotely) in the ACSI Math Olympics. In the 12 competitions of computation and reasoning, LGCS placed 15 of their students, including one 1st place finish. The following students placed as follows:

3rd grade: Joel Moulouangou - reasoning, 3rd place

4th grade: Christina Druz – reasoning, 5th place

5th grade: Camilla Lima - computation, 4th place; Gabriela Moreno – computation, 5th place; Rachel Griffioen – reasoning, 2nd place; and Michaela Pumphrey – reasoning, 4th place

6th grade: Yahel Abraham – reasoning, 3rd place; Shalom Worku - computation, 2nd place; and Yoel Fitsum - computation, 4th place

7th grade: Tyler Kadrichu – computation, 2nd place; and Perla Mangani – computation, 4th place

8th grade: Karis Mayhew – reasoning, 2nd place; Isabella Moreno – computation, 1st place; Anna Wong – computation, 2nd place; and Aden Mesfin – computation, 3rd place

LGCS thanks Math Olympics Coach Mr. Silva, and all of our teachers from kindergarten on up, for their instruction, as well as the parents for their diligence.
