Championship ACSI Math Olympics Team at Living Grace

In March,  Living Grace Christian School (LGCS) students, along with students from five other schools in Florida and North Carolina, competed (remotely) in the ACSI Math Olympics. In the 12 competitions of computation and reasoning, LGCS placed 24 of their students, including seven 1^st place finishes. The following students placed as follows:

In Grade 3: Nathaniel Worku, computation, 1^st place; Camille Sellevaag, computation, 2^nd place; Eden Yeh, computation, 3^rd place; Anagha Ezikpe, reasoning, 1^st place; Santiago Lima, reasoning, 3^rd place; Jabez Asfaw, reasoning, 4^th place.

In Grade 4: Mark Faustino, computation, 3^rd place; Joel Moulouangou, reasoning, 5^th place.

In Grade 5: Phoebe Tewodros, computation, 1^st place; Noah Girma, computation, 3^rd place; Willem Griffioen, reasoning, 2^nd place; Bethel Worku, reasoning, 5^th place.

In Grade 6: Rylie Bautista, computation, 1^st place; Camila Lima, computation, 2^nd place (tied); Rachel Griffioen, reasoning, 3^rd place; Jovanni Garcia, reasoning, 4^th place.

In Grade 7: Shalom Worku, computation, 2^nd place; Sophia Lievano-Bonilla, computation, 4^th place; Yoel Fitsum, reasoning, 1^st place (94% correct – gets a medal); Yahel Abraham, reasoning, 2^nd place; Joy Moulouangou, reasoning, 4^th place.

In Grade 8: Josiah Alemu, computation, 1^st place; Tyler Kadrichu, reasoning, 1^st place; Erika Parker, reasoning, 3^rd place.
