Living Grace Christian School Soccer Team achieves final four in MCST

The Living Grace Christian School Varsity Boys Soccer Team made it to the final four of the Maryland Christian School Tournament (MCST) with a record of 8 wins, 4 losses, and 1 tie. In the first round of the tournament, the team beat Washington Christian Academy 6 to 1 to make it to the semifinals. There they battled Covenant Life School in a hard-fought game, losing 3 to 2. Josué Escalante and José Camacho Saenz were named to the MCST All-Tournament Team.

Throughout the season, Captain Josué Escalante provided inspirational leadership from center mid with 15 goals and 10 assists (56 goals and 40 assists for his career). In addition, Captain José Camacho Saenz provided strong play and a consistent scoring threat with 12 goals and 4 assists. Dante Fuentes tallied 7 goals and 7 assists, and David Sarmiento scored 11 goals and assisted on 5 more. Goalkeeper Jaiden Gaskin-Vilson, defenders Ronald Davis, Jr. and Kevin Freeman, Jr., and defensive center mid Joshua Switzer anchored the defense. Living Grace Christian School is very grateful for an excellent season.
