Signature Events 

Fourth of July 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run is a great way to show your spirit the fun, fit way! The race will take place on the Sunday morning closest to July 4. This race through parts of the Village is designed for families and competitors, first-timers and race veterans. 

Fourth of July Parade and Celebration is an exciting time for residents, summer camps, swim teams and area organizations to gather for a parade, which includes judging by categories, followed by a variety of midway games, rides and entertainment into the early afternoon of Independence Day. Festivities include music, lawn games, carnival rides, food and good family fun!

The Great Pumpkin Race and Fall Festival is a great family activity. This one-day outdoor event has all the makings of a fall festival, themed around wacky pumpkin racers! Groups, families or individuals can build a pumpkin racer in the days leading up to the event and compete in single elimination heats against friends and neighbors until a champion is crowned. Festivities include a live rock band, games, fall activities, festival food and zany race antics!

Special Events 

Indoor Flea Market is held each year in February. Residents can clean house and sell their gently used items. Rent a space for a nominal fee to sell what others might see as terrific treasures! Free admission to shop!

Spring and Fall Outdoor Flea Markets are held in May and September of each year in the parking lot of the North Creek Community Center. Rent a space or two for a nominal fee to sell what others might see as terrific treasures! Area organizations and youth groups are encouraged to reserve space to raise money for their groups.

Easter Eggstravaganza includes spring-themed games and activities, and a candy-filled egg hunt.

All-Comers Swim Meet is an opportunity for residents to gather for a swim meet where competition is done all in the name of fun.

Flashlight Halloween Hunt includes Halloween-themed games and activities, candy hunt and a costume contest.

Holiday Craft Bazaar is held in November at the Lake Marion Community Center for residents to buy or sell handmade crafts and gifts. Tables can be reserved for a small fee.

New Resident Welcome Reception is held once a year in November, and is an opportunity for new residents to hear a brief presentation about Montgomery Village and meet Montgomery Village Foundation staff.  It is also an excellent time to meet area business representatives, community service organization representatives and other members of the community. Bring your questions and, while you're mingling, enjoy some terrific refreshments and giveaway items.

Community Christmas Tree Lighting is a great way to kick off the holiday season. Help light the Village tree, sip hot cocoa and listen to holiday tunes; there may even be a special appearance by the man in red!

Hot Chocolate with Santa is a special time when Village youngsters get to spend time with Santa himself. Children can pick toppings for their made-to-order, signature hot chocolate drink, make special holiday crafts and take a photo with Santa as you tell him your Christmas wish list.

Toys for Tots Holiday Concert is a free, special holiday concert for the whole family that benefits The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. The Montgomery Village Community Band invites you to celebrate the holidays and help those in need through the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
