by Doniele Ayres, MVF President

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as President of the Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) Board of Directors. I am excited to work with the Board, the Executive Vice President and all of the MVF staff. More important, I am excited to serve the community. At our annual meeting in March, we looked back at a successful 2023 for the Village, and our April meeting shows strong financial performance in the first quarter of 2024, as well as a plan to continue our growth.

As we think about the future of Montgomery Village, I am excited to hear from you about your vision for the community and how we can work together to build that vision. Montgomery Village Foundation is a partnership of its members, which includes all of our homeowners, dwelling in numerous homes corporations, condominium associations and multi-family rental apartments. Each of these partnerships has unique needs, but they depend on everyone working together.

I offer a special thanks to volunteers across the Village. Whether you volunteer on a committee or HOA/COA board, advocate for the Village to our elected officials or support the community in any big or small way, you make our community better and your efforts are appreciated.

Celebrating our Community
Spring and summer will offer lots of opportunities to celebrate our community and our neighbors. Thank you to all Veteran residents who have served our Armed Forces. We honor your commitment and service and thank you for being a part of our community. We will celebrate and acknowledge Juneteenth, the federal holiday that recognizes the announcement of the end of slavery. Our annual July 4 Parade and Celebration will celebrate the 246th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and the Montgomery Village 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run will precede it on Sunday, June 30. Be sure to check www.montgomeryvillage.com for details on all of our celebrations and other events and activities
