Members of the MVF Board of Directors, MVF staff, the Committee on the Environment, Girl Scouts and The Brickman Group planted a Yellowwood tree at North Creek Lake Park during the 50th Anniversary Arbor Day Celebration. Other activities at North Creek Community Center included Red Bud and White Oak tree sapling giveaways, seed planting and kids crafts, as well as informational display tables and representatives from Monarch Watch, the Montgomery Village Garden Club, Montgomery County Master Gardeners and Girl Scout Troop 4206.
