Term: 2017 – 2020

Pete has served as a member of the MVF Board of Directors since April 2011. Prior to serving on the MVF BOD, Pete served as a member of the MVF Vision 2030 Committee as well as the MVF Long Range Facilities Planning Committee (LRFPC).  Beyond MVF duties, Pete has been actively involved in the community as a swim team A meet representative for the Whetstone Whales, Director for the Watkins Mill HS Booster Club, and fundraising chairperson for the Watkins Mill HS Post Prom and Booster Club.

Professionally, Pete works for the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) as Senior Vice President for Analytics, Planning and Technology.  Pete previously worked as Chief information Officer for UMUC, Rosetta Stone and MedImmune.  In addition to his work at UMUC, Pete currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Education Enterprise Consortium (MEEC), the Maryland Research and Education Network (MDREN) and past Director and founding member of the Montgomery County Multisport Club (MOCO Multisport).

Pete's primary goal as a member of the MVF BOD is to help implement the various recommendations and plans developed as part of the LRFPC and Vision 2030 committees. Developing a positive future vision for the community and encouraging forward progress and investment in Montgomery Village is Pete's primary aim.
